Dr Bill looking for volunteers for the Salinas Airshow!!! Today was set-up day, rest tomorrow then Monday AM let the fun begin. Weather is perfect!!

Kickout Party

Our annual "Kickout Party" was held June 21, 2009 at the Custom House Plaza. We played a Bocce Ball Tournament, kicked out President Jeff Haferman and welcomed President-Elect Pete Tansil, and, we wished a happy birthday to our exchange student Aline Pimentel, who returned to Brazil on June 22 (the very next day) after a year in Monterey.

Flag Retirement, May 29, 2009

The boy scouts did a flag retirement at the Old Scout House at Window-on-the-Bay park on May 29, 2009... thanks to Dr. Bill Jones and Scout Leader Mike Djubasak for setting this up!

Yavuz has a big day!

On May 5, Yavuz told us all about his vocation. At the end of the meeting, he was fortunate to have his ticket pulled from the raffle, and asked President Jeff to pull the marble... the red one came out! Yavuz did a repeat performance on the raffle one week later, with Duncan pulling the red marble for him on May 12.
