The Rotary Club of Monterey Peninsula Sunrise invites you to attend the first “Rotary International Night” fundraiser to be held on Saturday Night, May 8th, 2010 at the Monterey Conference Center - Serra Ballroom. Monterey Peninsula Sunrise believes in touching local and international communities in an effort to “Make Dreams Real,” and we need your support so that we can continue to impact the community and make a difference.

The big share of all the proceeds from our Rotary International Night 2010 Fundraiser will benefit the Monterey Peninsula School District’s Summer Reading Program and the Jacob’s Heart Children’s Cancer Support Services, and the rest will be used for the other club community services and projects such as:

• Providing dictionaries to 3rd graders in Seaside
• Project Helping Hand – funding for school teachers
• Sponsoring high school students to Camp Royal, a camp which develops leadership skills in youth
• El Nino Project: Supplying eye glasses and Eye and Dental Exams for Children in Santiago de Tlauta in Mexico
• Providing funding for Rancho Cielo Youth Campus
• Sponsoring Youth Exchange Students, and Ambassadorial Scholarships
• Monterey County Food Bank, I-HELP Dinners for Homeless
• Salvation Army Solar Energy Project
• Supporting Rotary International’s eradicating Polio efforts
